The Tachihara 4X5 is a superb, modern-design field camera and a testament to centuries-long Japanese woodworking tradition. This later version of the Tachihara production features improved locking tabs, teflon washers and bearings and better gripping knobs. This camera is made of 400-year-old, kiln-dried cherry wood, finished in Ebony stain. This is an ultralight camera (~3.2lbs), making for an ideal backpacking kit. Paired with two modern multi-coated lenses, film and holders, this kit is ready to go straight out of the box.

• Cosmetically this camera shows minimal signs of use if any, appears to have never been used
• Exceptionally clean camera with all original deep shine factory finish intact (one small nick in finish near locking latch, minor marks on metal base bed)
• Camera is fully tested and working as it should
• Bellows are tested - LIGHT TIGHT
• All camera movements, knobs, gears, and latches are in good working condition
• Spring back is tight and works perfectly
• Original high end ground glass/fresnel combo is clean and clear

Rodenstock Geronar 150mm F6.3:

• 150mm is a normal-angle of view lens on 4X5 cameras (similar to a 50mm lens on 35mm cameras)
• This lens is used, tested, and working as it should
• Exceptionally clean all around
• Modern, compact, clean, multi-coated glass with no issues to report
• No fungus, haze or scratches
• Shutter is in good working condition and fires nicely on all speeds

Rodenstock Geronar 210mm F6.8:

• 210mm is a Tele/portrait-angle of view lens on 4X5 cameras (similar to an 85mm lens on 35mm cameras)
• This lens is used, tested, and working as it should
• Exceptionally clean all around
• Modern, compact, clean, multi-coated glass with no issues to report
• No fungus, haze or scratches
• Shutter is in good working condition and fires nicely on all speeds
