The Tachihara is a modern wooden camera made in Japan. It is made from 400 year old, kiln dried Japanese cherry wood and finished with a super gloss protective layer. This later version incorporates many improvements, including easy grip knobs, teflon washers, self-setting struts, fresnel lens, rear retro moving standard and more.

This is a well used, good working condition Tachihara 4X5 camera.
Cosmetically, this camera is in fair condition with some minor brassing, nicks and dings.
Bellows is brand new.
All camera movements, knobs, gears and latches are in good working condition.
Spring back is tight and works perfectly.
Holders are film tested and light-tight.
Original Tachihara fresnel lens and gridded protective panel are clean and very bright, one small mark on matte side.
Fuji W 135mm F5.6:
The 135mm is a moderately wide-angle lens on 4X5 (equivalent to a 40mm lens on 35mm format cameras). This is a compact, multi-coated lens, which offers excellent coverage (covers 5X7) and extreme sharpness. Glass is clean, shutter fires nicely on all speeds.
Ilex Acugon 90mm F8:
The 90mm is a wide-angle lens on 4X5, (equivalent to a 28mm lens on 35mm format cameras). This is an American licence made Schneider Super-Angulon. One of the first CAD production lenses. A modern, multi-coated lens, which offers excellent coverage (covers 5X7) and sharpness. Glass is clean, shutter fires nicely on all speeds.
