Hand built in Chicago, completed on October 5th, 1961 according to the Deardorff factory ledger. Superb craftsmanship with smooth gliding gears and effortless locking are just some of the hallmarks of this Deardorff V5 camera.

Modern replacement bellows installed 2017, KB Canham precision gridded ground glass installed 2020.

• Rotating 4X5 back (not original deardorff, probably indian made)

Camera Features:

• Front movements include tilt, rise/fall and micro rise/fall adjustment on the front
• Rear movements: tilt and swing
• Back can easily be mounted in vertical or horizontal positions
• Massive 17" bellows draw capability
• Bright, sharp Canham ground glass upgrade

Camera Condition:

• Bellows are Japanese made, synthetic kevlar fiber and in very good condition
• This camera is used and shows normal signs of use with some bumps, scrapes
and dings throughout
• Very nice patina throughout
• All knobs, levers and locks are present and working as they should
• All geared movements are smooth, locks easily and firmly
• Ground glass is clean and clear
• Leather carry strap is worn, still strong enough to carry the camera

Schneider Symmar S MC 210mm F5.6:

• 210mm is a Normal angle of view lens on 8X10 cameras (similar to a 50mm lens
on 35mm cameras)
• Superb all-purpose use lens
• Modern, multi-coated glass
• This lens is used, tested, and working as it should
• Cosmetically, this lens shows minimal signs of use
• Glass is clean with no fungus, haze or scratches
• Modern copal shutter is in good working condition and fires nicely on all speeds
