Fully tested Imacon 949 scanner

The 949 scanner is the same scanner as the Imacon X5, though in a different housing, speed, Dmax range, light bulbs, lenses and sensor are all the same, this is the latest and last Imacon scanner model made by Imacon and is the most advanced in the range

Please see the scanner hardware data/info from FC: Note the total lifetime scans on this machine since new are less than 3000 passes, a ridiculously low number, this was a privately owned machine used to digitize one personal archive, the sent in to Hasselblad for a full CLA (paperwork included), then put pack in the original box and never touched

The FIREWIRE port on this scanner IS WORKING as it should

We STRONGLY recommend running this on a PC/Windows machine, we can supply you with a working PC machine that works right out of the box (use pull down menu to select this option)

This scanner has backup SCSI ports, in case that will ever become needed due to FW port failure in the future, a superb option to have to keep the scanner working well in the future. We can supply the work station with the SCSI backup option already in place if desired

We are happy to help set up and install this scanner on any PC machine, sorry, we cant help you with a MAC install. We are happy to provide a basic tutorial on using this scanner (45 minutes) at no cost
