Late Deardorff production, dating to the late early 70's with the latest style of hardware and fittings. Most importantly, this camera has the newer style bed plate which is more stable and will not split. Over all, this camera shows heavy signs of use with some nicks/scuffs all around, some of the original finish still shines through. All hardware is in good working condition. Plain ground glass and brand new bellows installed in 2026. Paired with the exceptionally sharp Ilex Acutar 305mm F6.3 lens, this camera is ready to shoot right out of the box - just add film. Ilex Acutar 305mm F6.3
• 305mm is a normal angle of view on 8X10 cameras (similar to a 50mm lens on 35mm cameras)
• Modern, coated glass with exceptional sharpness, following its classic tessar lens formula
• Newer style Acme #4 syncro shutter works nicely
• Cosmetically, shows minimal signs of use
• Glass is clean, no fungus, haze or scratches, coating is excellent
