This Graflex Speed Graphic is a lightweight, rigid and highly capable 4X5 folding field camera with a built in focal plane shutter. The focal plane shutter enables the usage of shutterless "barrel" lenses and in this case facilitates the use of the Kodak Aero Ektar 178mm F2.5 lens, though any type of lens can be used, with or withouth a shutter. With speeds of up to 1/1000th of a second, this is a highly versatile system that can be used hand held, in the field or in the studio in a wide range of lighting conditions.

This camera is built around the venerable Aero Ektar lens, which offers amazing shallow depth of field, background swirl and smooth bokeh.

Camera Condition:

• Cosmetically, this camera shows normal signs of use and handling, please carefully inspect images to get a good idea of the cosmetic condition of this camera
• This camera is in fair shape considering its more than 80 years of age
• Camera focal plane shutter is in good working condition and fires nicely on all speeds
• All camera functions are tested and working as they should
• Bellows are tested, light tight
• Rangefinder works as it should, final calibration of the RF to be done by new owner
• RF patch is slightly faint, but usable
• All camera movements, knobs, gears, and latches are in good working condition
• Back is tight and works as it should
• Ground glass is sharp and clear
• Folding viewing hood is in good working condition
• Lens glass is clean but with no haze, scratches or fungus though does have some minor internal artifacts/dust that have no impact on image quality, aperture works as it should
