The ultimate 8X10 kit. You will not find a nicer looking V8 with all original finish. One of the last Deardorff bodies to be made in Chicago, dating to the late 70's/early 80's with the latest style of hardware and fittings. Most importantly, this camera has the newer style bed plate which is more stable and will not split. Over all, this camera shows only light signs of use with some minor nicks/scuffs but with most of the original finish shine still present. All hardware is in excellent condition. Plain ground glass and brand new bellows installed in 2026. Ask us about upgrading the ground glass to a borosilicate fresnel combo "superscreen". Paired with a superb Nikon W 300mm lens, this camera is ready to shoot right out of the box - just add film. Nikon Nikkor W MC 300mm F5.6:

• 300mm is a normal angle of view on 8X10 cameras (similar to a 50mm lens on 35mm cameras)
• Modern, multi-coated, apo corrected glass with massive coverage for extensive movements
• All black copal shutter fires nicely on all speeds
• Cosmetically, the barrel of the lens shows some wear, with marks/scuffs
• Glass is clean, no fungus, haze or scratches
• Mounted on a used lensboard, board shows more wear than the rest of the camera
