NEW UNUSED GIBELLINI 11X14 film holder #3100

• This is a brand new Gibellini made 11X14 film holder from the era when they had a kickstarter to make film holders. Never put into a camera (since it does not really work anyways, see below)
• As with all things Gibellini, it looks great, well made, but precision and function are not quite there, sadly, this film holder only "almost" takes 11X14 film and the film, but is 0.3-0.5mm too narrow. While it is able to load into the holder will be slightly bowed up as there is just not enough space between the bars to hold a sheet of 11X14 film, the exact function this holder is meant to do, typical, but what can you do
• Otherwise, this is a glorious piece of very expensive CNC machining and fine material choices, clever design features, alas, all of the above despite the fact it does not quite work in doing the single and simple function it was intended for
• It is possible that some film brands will cut their film ever so slightly smaller (0.5mm on the long edge) and will fit in this holder with no problem, but HP5 is out of the question without modification from Gibellini, who have clearly denied anything is wrong with the holder
