RARE Baby Deardorff 4X5 camera NEW BELLOWS #2708

Exceedingly rare "baby" Deardorrf 4X5, the only true, compact, lightweight 4X5 format Deardorff camera. Only a handful ever made before the the production was scrapped. Amazing original patina, with shiny original chrome plating and a newer nylon fabric bellows recently replaced, but which follows the original shape of bellows exactly.

Camera Features:

• Made of Honduran mahogany wood, finished in high gloss, original wood finish is faded, but mostly intact
• Lightweight, folding design
• Front movements include tilt, micro rise/fall, axis rise/fall
• Rear movements include tilt and extended swing
• Fine geared focus and retro movement for the rear standard
• Back can easily be mounted in vertical or horizontal positions

Camera Condition:

• This camera is used and in good working condition
• Cosmetically, this camera shows normal signs of use with some heavy patina in places, scuffs and dings as you would expect from a used camera wooden that is 90+ years old
• This is a reliable workhorse camera that has been loved and used for years, still plenty of life in it, with a new bellows and new lensboard inculded
• All levers, knobs and locks are present and work as they should
• All tensions, friction and damping work as they should
• Bellows is new, installed circa 2024
